Yamaha has announced its portable USB-powered stereo speaker, the NX-U10. The speaker uses Yamaha’s PowerStorage circuit technology to solve the low output problem that is commonly associated with conventional speakers.
The PowerStorage circuit allows the speaker to stored unused power and then use the stored power later to deliver high quality sound. In addition to this the NX-U10 also has SR-Bass technology, and the speaker has a frequency range of 90Hz~20kHz.
The speaker has driver that is 3.8 cm in radius and weighs .5kg. The NX-U10 comes in black or silver and will be sold on August 1 in Korea at a price of 180,000 KRW (approximately $195.06 USD). More pictures after the jump.
