Here is yet another gadget base on the universally loved R2-D2 robot. This one is a motorized wireless webcam which is able to transmit video and audio on the net at a resolution of 628 x 524 pixels. This R2-D2 has world wide access capabilities which allow him to be accessed and controlled by a laptop or laptop anywhere in the world.
His camera also has the following capabilities: it can take digital photos, tilt, zoom and voice record. Being motorized he can move forward, backward, left, right, and do 360 degree spins. His movements are controlled by a remote control which is a replica of a light saber. The light saber can also be used as a Skype phone.
The R2-D2 has a sensor in his front which can detect the ledge of a surface that he is moving on. If needed he will automatically come to a stop in order to prevent himself from falling off a surface such as the edge of a table. R2-D2 also says 11 phrases and sounds.
