LG has created a home theater system, called Luxury Gold, where all the components are covered with 24 karat gold. The gold-plated theater system consists of a 71-inch plasma tv, a set-top box and five 2-way speakers.
The plasma tv has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The rest of the system is able to read and write to DVDs, and CDs, play SVCDs,VCDs, WMAs, and MP3s and decode DTS audio.
There is not much info on the release date, but it seems certain that the gold home theater system will only be available in Korea.
