This is the second trailer for the movie District 9. The movie seems to be about what happens somewhere in South Africa when a group of extraterrestrial beings land there and then live amongst the humans.

There are several important factors: the human government is in control of their ship(preventing them from leaving), the government also controls the are area in which they live (the aliens live in slums) and the humans living around them aren’t happy about their alien neighbours. These factors can bring about several interesting themes and issues, and it looks like the film will explore these themes and issues.

All in all this looks to be very different from the typical bad-aliens-from-space-coming-to-get-you-run-away type film.
