A second trailer for Jim Cameron’s film “Avatar” has been released. This trailer gives the viewer more information on the story of the film but overall it is not too different from the first trailer.

James Cameron has a great track record as film maker so I’m not too worried about the story. The problem here is the special effects are not convincing.

This type of film requires alot of special effects so the use of computer generated images is extensive, but the cgi is noticeably short of being photo realistic. And in some of the scenes the live actors themselves look like they have been computer generated.

But for the most part it looks live actors were placed in a Pixar film. And I’m still disappointed. What do you guys think of the trailer?
