A 16GB version of the Samsung YP-P2 can now be ordered online by Canadian consumers.
This new 16GB model was advertised to the Korean market earlier this month.
In Canada the Samsung YP-P2 is priced at $369.99CAD (or $329.99CAD with discount).
I thought that products such as these are usually introduced in the United States before Canada or in both countries simultaneously. So it seems strange that it would be available in Canada first.
Regardless, now that the YP-P2 is available in Canada it should show up in the US very soon.

The group behind the USB standard says that devices with connectors designed to the new USB 3.0 standard may come to the market in 2008. The USB 3.0 standard allows for the transmission of data at speeds up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0’s maximum speed of 480 Mbit/s. This means that USB 3.0 may transfer data at speeds of up to 4.8 Gbps. And also of note, the new USB 3.0 standard will be backwards compatible with the older USB standards. So basically all your old stuff should will work.

XMI has developed a speaker with an accordion-like vacuum tube called the X-mini. This collapsible vacuum tube allows the speaker to be folded compactly into a sphere.
The speaker also features a bass control, a rechargeable battery, a USB connection and a stereo plug. The X-mini costs approximately $32 US.
I would love to hear how these speakers perform. The X-minis were obviously designed to be extremely portable, and seem to be perfectly suited for carrying around with your laptop or PMP.
