Sunbrite has released information on its largest outdoor LCD TV the 46-inch 4600HD.
The 4600HD has been designed to be used in a variety of conditions and as such is resistant to rain, dirt, scratches and bugs. Impressively the LCD TV can function in temperatures as low as -24 degrees Farenheight or as high as 122 degrees Farenheight.
The 4600HD has good TV specifications as well. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio, a HD-ready resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and contrast ratio of 1600:1 and a HDMI input . Sunbrite will display the 4600HD at the CEDIA Expo in September. It is priced at $4995.

Samsung has announced that it has created a 30-inch LCD which incorporates the DisplayPort interface. The display has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and contrast ratio of 1000:1. This announcement makes Samsung the first company to produce a such an LCD. The DisplayPort interface transmits data at a speed of 10.8 Gigabits per second. This technology will be used to replace standard DVI and LVDS connections and will eventually replace VGA connections as well. …Continue reading … »
