Samsung announced that they have created a 1.8 inch drive with a capacity of 160GB. With its 1.8 inch form factor, the the 4200 rpm Spinpoint N2 hard drive can be used in electronic items such as portable external hard drives, MP3 players and hard drive based digital camcorders.
Unfortunately Samsung did not state how much the new Spinpoint N2 hard drive would cost or when it would go into production. But I don’t imagine it will be too long before we see these drives used in some gadget or another, because it is speculated that a certain company who makes DAPs is preparing to release their new i… uh well, new DAPs fairly soon.

This is a special lamp that connects to the USB port of a computer and lights up.
That by itself is somewhat unique, but the really interesting thing about this lamp is that it gets brighter and brighter depending on how fast you type.
The lamp has five stages of brightness, its dimensions are 60 (W) x 60 (D) x 110 (H) mm and it weighs 58 g. And it works on Windows 2000 and XP computers.
The USB powered lamp costs 1980 Yen ( approximately $16.72 USD).
Always thought you can type faster than the guy in the cubicle in the back? Now you can know for sure. But only if you live in Japan.
