Celluon of Korea will soon bring to the market the CL850 virtual laser keyboard. This extremely cool device is able to “project” an image of keyboard on to a flat surface which the user can use to type like a real keyboard.

This is a special lamp that connects to the USB port of a computer and lights up.
That by itself is somewhat unique, but the really interesting thing about this lamp is that it gets brighter and brighter depending on how fast you type.
The lamp has five stages of brightness, its dimensions are 60 (W) x 60 (D) x 110 (H) mm and it weighs 58 g. And it works on Windows 2000 and XP computers.
The USB powered lamp costs 1980 Yen ( approximately $16.72 USD).
Always thought you can type faster than the guy in the cubicle in the back? Now you can know for sure. But only if you live in Japan.

Lacie has available for preorder another 2 terabyte external harddrive, the Big Disk Extreme+. It is compatible with windows and mac operationing systems. It has a 2 firewire 800 ports, 1 firewire 400 port and 1 usb port. Its cache is 32 megabytes. It differs from the previously announced LaCie Ethernet Big Disk because the Big Disk Extreme+ lacks the ability to send files over gigabit ethernet. The Big Disk Extreme+ is priced at $849 and will ship in late July 2007.
